Data Deletion.

1. Who can request deletion?

• Merchant administrators: the owner or authorized operator of an account connected to Shopzito who wants account-related information or a connected integration removed.
• Instagram customers: people whose Instagram conversations or order details may have been handled through a Merchant’s Shopzito connection.
• Other contacts: anyone who believes Shopzito is processing their personal information.

2. How to submit a deletion request

1. Contact Shopzito support via the verified email address listed below. Use the subject: Shopzito Data Deletion Request.
2. Identify the relevant account by supplying your Instagram username, the Merchant account/page name, or the email address associated with the Shopzito account. Include a short description of the information you wish to delete.
3. Complete identity verification if requested. We may ask for limited information needed to confirm authority and prevent another person from deleting your data. Do not send passwords, security codes, access tokens or payment-card numbers.
4. Receive a response. We will acknowledge and assess the request, coordinate with the relevant Merchant where needed, and explain the deletion outcome or any legally required exceptions under applicable law.

3. What information can be deleted?

Depending on the account and the available data, a request can cover Shopzito-held profile or account information, Instagram messaging and interaction data accessible through Shopzito, stored automation-related records, and related order/customer information maintained by the service. We will identify which records fall within the request and whether they can be removed directly or require coordination with a Merchant.

Some records may need to be retained for a limited period where a specific law requires it or a lawful dispute, accounting, fraud-prevention or security obligation applies. Such records should be restricted to the relevant purpose and deleted when retention is no longer required.

4. Disconnecting Shopzito from Instagram

If you are an authorized Merchant administrator, you may also revoke Shopzito’s access to the connected Instagram professional account through the relevant Meta/Instagram business integration settings, where available. Revoking platform access helps prevent further authorized access, but it may not automatically delete records already stored by Shopzito or by the Merchant. Submit a deletion request using the email above for those records.

If you are a customer messaging a participating Merchant, removing a DM or blocking a Merchant on Instagram does not necessarily remove Shopzito-held transaction records. Please submit a request or contact the Merchant directly.

5. Timing and confirmation

Requests will be handled without undue delay and within applicable legal or platform-policy requirements after any necessary identity verification. We will respond with information on the outcome and any permitted retention exception. Processing time can vary depending on the scope, verification and Merchant coordination.
